First of all, don't avoid this movie because its directed toward children. Its hilarious.
Unlike most childrens movies, its not too long and it doesn't preach a liberal agenda. No, you won't walk out thinking about how building houses is killing our wild animals (Over the Hedge), or worrying about our polution killing penguins (happy feet). These issues may exist but our children don't need to be worried about it during a fun movie! Horton Hears a Who is fun and even a bit uplifting. I was laughing out loud during the entire movie.
